1. What cookies are

Cookies are small text files that a website stores in your browser. Other data kept in the browser (local storage and session storage) works in a similar way, so in this text we call all of it cookies.

The cookies are set by Belcorp International Ltd, which runs Speak Hungarian. How we handle personal data is explained in the Privacy Policy.

2. How you choose and change your choice

On your first visit you see a notice with three buttons: “Accept all”, “Reject all” and “Customise”. Rejecting is as easy as accepting. Until you agree, measurement and marketing stay off.

We remember your choice for 6 months (the pm-consent cookie) and then ask again. You can change or withdraw it whenever you like with , which is also in the footer of every page. When you withdraw consent, we delete the measurement cookies that we can delete and reload the page.

3. Necessary cookies (no consent needed)

Without these, signing in and the site do not work, or they only remember something you did yourself. We do not ask for consent for them.

  • pm-auth-token (cookie, 7 days): keeps you signed in.
  • pm-lang (cookie, 1 year): remembers your chosen language.
  • pm-consent (cookie, 6 months): remembers your cookie choice.
  • pm-signup-proof and pm-signup-next (local storage): let the email confirmation carry on where you left off. They are deleted when you confirm your account.
  • pm-checkout-started and pm-learn-source (session storage): a payment in progress and a technical setting of the app, until you close the tab.
  • Remembered choices (local storage): that you closed a notice or already filled in a form, so they do not keep coming back. These are pm-connect-telegram-dismissed, lead-magnet-popup-dismissed, lead-magnet-downloaded, sticky-pdf-banner-dismissed, pwa-install-dismissed, pwa-installed and feedback-*-submitted. They stay until you clear your browser data.

4. Measurement (only with your consent)

  • pm-utm (local storage, 30 days): the campaign of the link you came from (utm tags). When you sign up, we store it with your account, so we know which ads bring learners.
  • Google Analytics 4, which we load through Google Tag Manager, counts visits and the steps people take on the site. It sets _ga and _ga_* (up to 2 years), which tell visitors apart so that a repeat visit is not counted as a new one. It receives data about visits: pages, time, device and approximate location from the IP address. Tag Manager itself does not set cookies.

Vercel Analytics, which we use to count visits, does not use cookies and gives only aggregate statistics, so we do not ask consent for it.

5. Marketing (only with your consent)

The Meta pixel (Facebook and Instagram), which we load through Tag Manager, measures how many visits and sign-ups come from our ads. It sets cookies such as _fbp (up to 90 days) and _fbc, and Meta receives the pages you visit and the fact that someone signed up or asked for our free PDF guide. Meta may also use that data under its own privacy policy.

6. Other ways to control cookies

You can also delete or block cookies in your browser settings. If you block the necessary ones, signing in will not work. You can adjust the ads you see in the ad settings of your Google and Meta accounts.

7. Changes and contact

When the list of cookies or their purpose changes in an important way, we will ask for your choice again. The date of the last update is at the top of the page. Send questions to dalibor@pricajmadjarski.com.
